The cartridge is what the pen dispenses from. Reconstituted compound is transferred into the cartridge, and the cartridge loads into the pen body.

Borosilicate glass, with the short-stopper geometry required for V1 and V2 pen compatibility. A cartridge with the wrong stopper height will seat but will not track correctly against the plunger rod.
